Online Therapy for Adults Feeling Stuck in Patterns of Self-Doubt and Overthinking
Hello and welcome,
I work with adults across the UK who are feeling lost, stuck, anxious, overwhelmed — or quietly underwhelmed — by a life that looks fine on the outside but doesn’t feel that way on the inside.
Maybe you’ve spent years blending in — adapting to what others need and hiding parts of yourself just to feel like you fit in.
Maybe you’re always there for everyone else, but find yourself wondering why no one’s really there for you.
Or maybe you’re exhausted from overthinking and second-guessing yourself — trying hard to get everything “right” but still feeling like you’re falling short.
Many of the people I work with talk about:
☑︎ struggling to find genuine motivation
☑︎ a deep sadness they can’t quite explain or feel able to share
☑︎ relationships that feel one-sided
☑︎ habits they want to stop but feel powerless to change
☑︎ persistent worry about what others think, and a quiet fear of failure
Online therapy with me offers a space to slow down, untangle what’s holding you back, and begin letting go of old beliefs shaped by your life experiences.
If you’re curious about working together, you’re warmly invited to get in touch — or keep reading to find out more about how I can support you.

You might be:
Struggling with how you see yourself:
☑︎ Caught in self-doubt and never feeling quite good enough.
☑︎ Carrying the pressure to always hold things together, even when it feels too much.
☑︎ Feeling numb or emotionally flat for no particular reason.
☑︎ Carrying a quiet belief that you’re somehow bad and unlikeable.
☑︎ Finding it difficult to switch off and needing to be busy.
☑︎ Criticising yourself – believing you’re deserving of it, or it keeps you motivated.
☑︎ Believing you’re “too sensitive”.
I work with adults who feel disconnected from themselves, or worn down by overthinking, people-pleasing, and the quiet pressure to keep going or always be “fine.”
Who I work with
Finding relationships difficult:
☑︎ In complicated or distant relationships with your parent(s), including estrangement.
☑︎ Caught in relationships that feel one-sided and emotionally draining.
☑︎ Hiding how you really feel, worried you’ll be a burden to others.
☑︎ Wanting to help everyone else, but struggling to ask for help or care in return.
☑︎ Feeling anxious in work or social situations, worrying about what others are thinking.
☑︎ Shutting down or feeling abandoned during conflict with people close to you.
Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out:
☑︎ Finding it hard to say no or to put your own needs first, often feeling guilty at the idea.
☑︎ Finding it difficult to switch off and needing to be busy.
☑︎ Struggle to name your feelings, or know what you’re feeling.
You don’t need a clear reason to seek therapy.
Therapy isn’t only for when something “big” happens.
Many of the people I support live with a constant knot of anxiety, struggle with self-doubt, or feel unsure in their relationships — but can’t always explain why, because on the surface, everything seems fine.
Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to perform being okay. Together, we make sense of the emptiness, the self-criticism, the niggling feeling that something isn’t right, or that persistent sense of not being good enough. We listen to what your feelings are trying to tell you, and understand what keeps showing up in your life that leaves you feeling stuck, gradually creating space for more ease, clarity, and self-trust.
Working together, we can ease the weight of constant overthinking and self-doubt, help you recognise and respond to your own needs without guilt, and feel more confident in who you are. Over time, you may notice how the small shifts start to add up — decisions feel easier to make, relationships feel less draining, and you feel more present in your life.
If something here resonates with you, therapy might be a supportive space to begin. Starting doesn’t mean having everything figured out – it simply means feeling curious enough to take one gentle step forward.
